Jenn, such a lovely spot. Where is it?
ReplyDeleteHi Charlotte,
DeleteThanks for your comment; as always, much appreciated. The waterway is the Grand Canal in Dublin and the bridge is the Huband Bridge at Mount Street Crescent. It was built in 1791 and is named after Joseph Huband, who was a director of the Grand Canal Company. The waterfall is actually water pouring over the nearby lock in the canal.
Cheers,
Jennifer

I could sit and watch/listen for ages. Such a wonderful spot - one day I may even be able to see it...
ReplyDeleteHi Celia,
DeleteThanks for your comments; as always, very much appreciated. It is a wonderful 'thoughtful spot' for walking along, thinking and dreaming. Even with the crush of traffic in the nearby roads, there is a sort of peace just here. I hope you do see it one day.
Cheers,
Jennifer
